Bratislava Coronation Days (Day 1)

Bratislava's annual Coronation Days bring history to life in the old town. An ~200-person coronation procession in elaborate historical costumes departs from Bratislava Castle and winds through the historic streets to the Main Square, featuring Slovak and Czech historical fencing groups, theatre and dance ensembles — kings, queens, nobility, clergy and commoners. The Main Square hosts historical theatre and fencing demonstrations. Also includes: guided tours of St. Martin's Cathedral (incl. underground crypts), guided tours of Coronation Bratislava, a ride on the historic Prešporáčik tram with audio commentary, wine tasting in Apponyi Palace cellar (Frankovka Modrá — wine of Maria Theresa), a knight's tournament and falconry show, workshops for children, a period fair with crafts, food and wine, and an AI coronation portrait photo point.
