Is theatre therapy, or therapy theatre? Milan: Maybe I wanted to tell you I'm not a good person. That we're not good people. Theatre is a dangerous thing. Maybe it would be best if you left. Misha: No one is good or evil. Milan: You think so? This production marks a departure from SkRAT theatre's usual collective creation method. Instead, playwright Peter Lomnický has written a dramatic text specifically for this show. It tells the story of a theatre ensemble rehearsing Chekhov's Ivanov. As rehearsals progress, conflicts emerge and the collective begins to fall apart, eventually turning to group therapy led by an expert. The motif of a dysfunctional personality incapable of forming genuine partnership or friendship becomes a lens through which to interpret not only Ivanov himself, but also the relationships among the fictional ensemble members.
