Bon Bon Jazz Bar

A jazz club tucked into a 120-year-old apartment building on Štefánikova — Bratislava's only proper boulevard. Opened 2016. By day it works as an artsy little café: specialty coffee, traditional sweets, and a mixed regular crowd of artists, intellectuals, students, office workers and tourists. In the afternoon it slides into bar mode with wines from family-run Slovak vineyards. The room itself does a lot of the talking — 7+ metre ceilings, the original 120-year-old shopfront, and rotating works by young local artists on the walls. Hosts live jazz nights with local musicians. Closed weekends — strictly a weekday spot.
